(Czech, French, German, Modern Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish) The languages you can learn from scratch (if you show linguistic aptitude) are Czech, Modern Greek, Italian and Portuguese. In the first year six courses are taken:
- General History (one from 370-900; 1000-1300, 1400-1650, 1815-1914) - A British History period OR Methods OR Foreign Text OR optional - TWO practical language papers - TWO literature papers There's a useful link here, including a video DATA
